Greenberg Safety is a lean, credential-driven firm. We work on projects where owners have high safety standards, the subcontractor matrix is large, and the cost of a mistake goes well beyond an OSHA citation. The consultants we bring in need to be prepared for that environment from day one.
We prioritize candidates who hold recognized credentials and have built them through real field work, not classroom-only backgrounds. If you've spent time on active construction or industrial sites managing safety programs, not just auditing them from a distance, we want to hear from you.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a meaningful plus for Texas-based work, where a majority of construction workforces are Spanish-speaking and bilingual training is a practical compliance requirement.
Credentials we recognize.
- CSP
Certified Safety Professional
Board of Certified Safety Professionals — the benchmark credential for senior-level safety roles.
- CHST
Construction Health and Safety Technician
BCSP — construction-specific certification with demonstrated field competency.
- OHST
Occupational Health and Safety Technologist
BCSP — broad OSHA and occupational health background across industries.
- OSHA 500 / 501
OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer
Construction or general industry — active trainer authorization to deliver 10- and 30-hour courses.
Other relevant credentials — CIH, CHMM, PE with safety focus — are considered based on the project type. Experience and demonstrated competency carry as much weight as the credential itself.
